A Helping Hand!

"What we have done for ourselves alone dies with us; what we have done for others and the world remains and is immortal."  - Albert Pike. I thought starting with that quote, might give me an understanding of what I really want to share today. Its all about giving a helping hand to the less fortunate in our society, in that respect I was invited to join my friends in a trip to children home over the weekend - AMAZING GRACE CHILDREN HOME.

The giver of life is always happy when we show our selflessness and share what He blessed us with, and the hand that gives is assured of returns, but love has to be in the equation of giving and receiving. Be always grateful of what you have. 

PROVERBS 22:9 "a generous man will himself be blessed, for he shares his food with the poor"

It never matters what you give or where you are from, but the gesture will be noticed and will be rewarded accordingly.

Obviously am not sure of what to expect when I get to the home but my heart will be wide open to receive and give love. I know for certain its going to be worthwhile, time spent with the children and hope that what I will give them will put a smile on their face even if its one face.

Take time and give back to the society and put a smile in the face of somebody and the joy that will fill your heart will be amazing, try it and remember it does not matter who it is. you have two hands, one to help yourself, the second to help others.
