A Helping Hand!

"What we have done for ourselves alone dies with us; what we have done for others and the world remains and is immortal."  - Albert Pike. I thought starting with that quote, might give me an understanding of what I really want to share today. Its all about giving a helping hand to the less fortunate in our society, in that respect I was invited to join my friends in a trip to children home over the weekend - AMAZING GRACE CHILDREN HOME.

The giver of life is always happy when we show our selflessness and share what He blessed us with, and the hand that gives is assured of returns, but love has to be in the equation of giving and receiving. Be always grateful of what you have. 

PROVERBS 22:9 "a generous man will himself be blessed, for he shares his food with the poor"

It never matters what you give or where you are from, but the gesture will be noticed and will be rewarded accordingly.

Obviously am not sure of what to expect when I get to the home but my heart will be wide open to receive and give love. I know for certain its going to be worthwhile, time spent with the children and hope that what I will give them will put a smile on their face even if its one face.

Take time and give back to the society and put a smile in the face of somebody and the joy that will fill your heart will be amazing, try it and remember it does not matter who it is. you have two hands, one to help yourself, the second to help others.

Life is a mystery

Life is a mystery. We strive to master the art of good living but somewhat we always come short. 

Life is a mystery no matter how insulated; guarded we think we are, somehow something is always burning.

Even in the keenest of moments somehow, something is always a miss.

Life is a mystery.

Never rushing; never sluggish; we approach strategically, confidence exuded, suddenly NO STRENGTH to battle on; NO STRENGTH to weep, we are surrendered to fate with all the assurance given; nothing gives.

Life is a mystery.

An enemy known, an adversary understood whose attack we not only prepare for but equally calculate our percentage win over; suddenly destruction; depression;dept; death are part of the result.

Life is a mystery.

Our conclusion; life is self balancing and we are never allowed to have it our way.

As the good book says; The race is not for the swift, or Battle for the strong nor Food to the wise; or  Favor to the learned; But time and chance happens to them all. Ecclesiastes (9:12).

OPPOSITE OF FEAR!

“You block your dreams when you allow your fears to grow bigger than your faith”

Don’t give up on your dreams. . .

The one thing we need to get out of our mind is FEAR. This really brings our expectations low and that is all because most of us dwell in negative thoughts. It is natural that, what we meditate on most, takes root in us. If an antelope always dwells in fear would it ever have a chance to out run the cheetah?

Fear will steal away your joy and enthusiasm. My encouragement is that, it takes the same amount of energy to be a positive thinker as it takes to be a negative. It’s been said time and again when one door closes another opens so let us keep those spirits high and see changes.

Stay away from those people who tend to bring you down, remember FEAR - just like FAITH and other emotions - is contagious. Just seeing other people fear is enough to make us afraid. Let not people talk you into mediocrity.

Have the opposite of FEAR – FAITH! “There’s nothing to fear but fear itself.”

WALK TOGETHER INSPIRED

As we begin this journey, never knowing where it leads us.  All we have is a distant vision uplifting us, along the way we meet INSPIRED people that lead us on to the land where others' individual experiences give us strength and hope to always expect a gift every morning in form of hours - present - every second counts.

A road, where there will not be a single sign pointing the opposite direction, where you will be always met with a smiling face, ears that are willing to listen to your words, where tears are met with leaning shoulders and stretched out arms to lift you from the ground to new heights.
